These services give you complete control over who reads them, how long they exist, or whether they can be printed, copied, or forwarded.

Hey, you don't have to be a secret agent to send self-destructing emails, just a very smart geek with a reputation to maintain, so check out what these four services can do for you:

• Will Self-Destruct: This service is free. There's no sign up process, but you have to fill out a web-based form with the recipient's email address, subject, and your message. The recipient receives an email with a link to a web page containing your message. Once the link is accessed, a countdown begins, and the message is destroyed. The email itself looks like spam, so make sure you tell your friend to expect something from willselfdestruct.com. SDMessage and Destructing Message are two similar alternatives.
  
  
• KickNotes: Another web-based service that sends self-destructing messages after filling out a form. You can actually control the times the message can be viewed or how long you want the message to exist. Once the message is created, you can either send a link to a web page through your own email address or from KickNotes.
  
  
• Kablooey Mail: This free service requires sign up, but it gives you complete control over emails you send. Latest iPods to be flash-based, only up to 16GB?

Taiwanese paper DigiTimes put out a report (read: rumor) on this year's iPod line (supposedly due this September), which is said to be primarily flash based (up to 16GB), eschewing hard drives entirely. 80 down to 16GB? One step forward, two steps back -- so yeah, we hope so, but not really.

BlackBerry Curve 8310 from Vodafone

It seems GPS is gaining more and more popularity with Blackberry devices. Shortly after the Blackberry 8820 was released Vodafone and Research In Motion (RIM) introduced the BlackBerry Curve 8310 smartphone. Featuring an integrated GPS module and Vodafone Navigator software with traffic and possible road obstacles information it gives its users a better chance of planning a traffic-jam free route. The Navigator itself is an off-board navigation system and downloads information from a central server when planning routes.

The BlackBerry Curve 8310, like its forerunner - the BlackBerry Curve 8300, features a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash. The GPRS/EDGE-enabled device sports 64 MB of internal flash memory, which is expandable through a microSD card slot. The display offers 65K colors and QVGA resolution. And connectivity features include Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP as well as a mini-USB. Like the BlackBerry Curve 8300 the BlackBerry Curve 8310 features a full QWERTY keyboard. For the German market a QWERTZ keyboard layout will also be available.

The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is available now from Vodafone in Germany for EUR 99.90. An interesting detail worth mentioning is that the first 5 000 people that purchase the BlackBerry Curve 8310 will have 100 top chart songs in MP3 format preinstalled on them.

As rumors go, the BlackBerry 8310 is only one of a series of new RIM devices that are to be released this summer. Another one - the BlackBerry 8820 has already hit the shelves. It is only a matter of time to see if the 8320 or the 8120 (both with Wi-Fi) will join it or will limit their existence to the gossips realm.

Disney Mobile adds DM-S105, DM-S110 from Samsung

If these clamshells are looking a little familiar, that's because they are. Disney Mobile's new DM-S105 and DM-S110 are clones not just of each other -- the only difference is the color, it seems -- but also of Sprint's M300 released a couple months back. Features include a VGA cam, Bluetooth, and internal antenna (a first for Disney, believe it or not) with data topping out at 1xRTT speeds. By any other carrier's standards these suckers would barely be worth a mention, but for Disney... well, these are your new Cadillacs. Get 'em now for $20 after contract and rebate.
