LaptopMag has just reviewed the AV2260-EK1 laptop from Averatec. The notebook, priced at $769.95, is powered by an AMD Turion 64 MT-32 (1.8GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM (expandable to 2GB), and 80GB of 4,200rpm HDD. Furthermore, this 12.1-inch (1280×800) laptop is equipped with VIA/S3G DeltraChrome IGP graphics engine with 64MB of shared VRAM, a dual-layer DVD-RW burner, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire port, S-Video, ExpressCard slot, and 4-in-1 memory card reader. Weighs 4.2 pounds, it also includes WiFI, Ethernet LAN, and integrated modem for its connectivity options. Measures 11.7 x 8.4 x 1.4-inches, Averatec's 2260-EK1 laptop runs on Windows XP Profession Edition operating system. |
